Wedding Dance Tutorial: Tools and Resources
Here are 4 Tools and Resources we use on a daily basis when teaching Wedding Dance choreography.
TO PICK A SONG:
If you lack inspiration when it comes to picking a song for your First Dance here are a few sites that might help: The Knot, and Bridal Guide.
Our Tutorial works with a 4/4 time signature (which is the common time signature), but that excludes the Waltz which is a 3/4 time signature.

TO EDIT YOUR SONG:
We recommend that your choreography should be no longer than 3 minutes.
If you need to cut or otherwise edit a song or if you would like to mix or compile a couple of songs then give Audacity a try. It's a powerful free audio editor, you can download it here.

TO GET THE BEAT:
When you are dancing it is crucial to keep the beat. You can use a metronome to help with that. Here is a free metronome.
You will also find free metronomes apps for your smart phone. We use Metronome Beats. To check your song's beat per minute go here and then enter it in your metronome.

TO LEARN TO DANCE:
If you don't know how to dance you will need to learn.
We offer an online Wedding Dance Tutorial for beginners that will teach everything you need to know to impress your friends and family!
